Large Five Layer Performance Air Filter: This aFe POWER Pro 5R is a 9” tall, pre-oiled, 360-degree radial flow performance air filter with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains out of all our filter media options. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in more flow and longer service intervals. One-Piece Housing: The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when the vehicle's hood is closed. It features an opening, allowing for air to enter from the front of the vehicle when under power. An additional auxiliary air inlet is available for use with an optional Dynamic Air Scoop (P/N 54-73006-S) that installs with zero hardware. Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube: This system features a high quality, CAD-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. Hassle-Free Installation: The system is CAD-designed and utilizes factory mounting locations – making for a hassle-free, direct bolt-on installation process that requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts.
