AFe Power is proud to introduce the all new stage-2 intake system for the 2013-2014 RAM diesel trucks with the L6-6.7L turbo diesel engine. In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake by 113 percent. This highly engineered system uses a powder-coated heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the PRO 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The PRO 5R filter is constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). One Piece Powder-Coated Steel Heat shield: A one-piece powder-coated steel heat shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. Designed to bolt directly to the bottom half of the stock air box, the heat shield incorporates the use of the factory RAM active air. Huge 5" Flange 360 Degree Air Filter: A huge inverted cone 360 degree radial flow air filter is used for maximum filtration (99.2 percent efficient) and convenience. The PRO 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Rotomolded Tube: Rotomolded intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). The tube connects to the stock intake elbow for added convenience and quicker installation.
