The Blue Sea Systems 50A 285-Series surface mount circuit breaker is a drop-in replacement for 185-Series circuit breakers. It combines switching and circuit protection into a single device. This circuit breaker is weather resistant and its "Trip Free" design cannot be held "ON" during fault current condition. Meets SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements. Do not use as a switch where high inrush currents are expected.
