This hex head intake manifold bolt is a threaded fastener that passes through the work piece and is held in place by a nut or a threaded hole on the other side. It holds together temporary and permanent constructions. The intake manifold is a network of passages that direct air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head and engine breathing is enhanced if the intake manifold is configured correctly.
