Sikaflex-295 UV is a paste-like, polyurethane adhesive direct-glazing for plastic windows in marine. Specially developed for the marine industry, for use to bond and seal organic glass on boats and ships on the substrates aluminium (bright or anodized), GRP (polyester resin), stainless steel, timber, 2-C coatings and organic glass (PC, PMMA). Fast-curing, it's ageing and weathering resistant. Technical Data: Application temperature: 10°C to 35°C. Tack-free time: 60 minutes. Method of application: surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Cut off the tip of the nozzle. To ensure uniform thickness of adhesive when compressed, we recommend applying the adhesive in the form of a triangular bead. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C. The optimum temperature for substrate and sealant is between 15°C and 25°C. For a smooth finish, it is recommended that Sika Tooling Agent N be used.
